Djembe Drumming

Community djembe drumming sessions offer a fun, energetic and inclusive way for people of all ages and abilities to experience music together. These sessions focus on rhythm, connection and creativity, creating a welcoming environment where participants can learn, play and enjoy music as a group.

No previous musical experience is required. Participants are guided through simple rhythms and patterns, gradually building confidence while learning to listen and play together as part of a group. The focus is on participation, enjoyment and the shared experience of making music.

Djembe drumming is well known for its ability to bring people together. Group drumming can support wellbeing, encourage teamwork and provide a positive creative outlet while building rhythm, coordination and listening skills.

Community drumming sessions are suitable for a wide range of settings and can be tailored to suit different groups, including community events, wellbeing programs, team-building activities, youth groups and workshops.

All instruments can be provided for sessions if required, making it easy for groups to participate and enjoy the experience together. At $31.50 per session you won't be disappointed.
