AGREED TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Tuition Fees

• Tuition is $40 per 30-minute lesson.

• Lessons are offered year-round, with Hopcraft Music taking four weeks of annual leave each year. Families will receive plenty of notice of these dates.

• Tuition fees are payable weekly on the day of the student's lesson.

• Please do not pay for lessons in advance.

2. School Holiday Lessons

• Lessons continue during the school holidays unless your family is away during the holiday period.

3. Year-Round Attendance

• Your weekly lesson time is reserved exclusively for your child throughout the year.

• Tuition fees are payable year-round to secure your child's ongoing lesson time.

• If your family will be away during the school holidays, please provide at least three weeks' notice so there will be no lesson and no lesson fee for that period.

• If less than three weeks' notice is provided, the lesson fee will still apply, as your lesson time has been reserved specifically for your child.

• If your child is unable to attend a scheduled lesson for any other reason, the lesson fee will still apply, as your lesson time has been reserved exclusively for your child.

4. Lesson Locations, Arrival & Collection

• School-Based Students: During the school term, students will make their way to and from the designated lesson space in accordance with the school's procedures. During the school holidays, lessons will be conducted from the Hopcraft Music home studio.

• Home Studio Students: Lessons are conducted from the Hopcraft Music home studio throughout the year.

• Home Studio Arrival & Collection: Students attending lessons at the home studio should arrive on time for their lesson and be collected promptly afterwards. Lessons run back-to-back, so punctuality ensures every student receives their full lesson. Unfortunately, supervision cannot be provided before or after lesson times.

5. Annual Leave & Teacher Absences

• Hopcraft Music will take four weeks of annual leave each year. Families will be advised of these dates well in advance.

• If I need to cancel a lesson due to illness, family commitments or unforeseen circumstances, I will provide as much notice as possible.

• Where possible, cancelled lessons will be rescheduled. If a suitable alternative lesson time cannot be arranged, no lesson fee will be charged for that lesson.

6. Safety & Permission

• For the safety of students and teacher, a small security camera records each lesson.

• A permission form must be completed before lessons commence.

• Enrolment in the year-round lesson schedule indicates acceptance of this Studio Policy.
